Explain what normal looks like
A cat may greet the sitter, observe from a doorway, or stay hidden. Record the usual hiding and sleeping places so the sitter can distinguish ordinary behavior from an open door or missing pet.
Separate food and medication by cat
Use names, exact amounts, meal times, bowl locations, and any separation routine. If medication is involved, copy only the prescription and clinic directions.
List every escape point
Call out balconies, screens, internal doors, garages, and any cat allowed outdoors. Tell the sitter which doors must close before another one opens.
