XYZ Pets editorial standards

Our tools organize the facts you provide. Our guides explain practical care handoffs. Neither replaces individual veterinary advice.

Who makes the content

The XYZ Pets Editorial Team uses AI-assisted drafting and development to research, write, edit, test, and maintain the site. We do not claim that a veterinarian has reviewed a page unless that qualified reviewer is named on the page.

Sources and examples

Source notes link to the organizations or original documentation behind care guidance. Our household checklists, sample names and times are planning examples. They are not observations from real clients or a personalized care plan. We distinguish those examples from the advice attributed to a source.

AI-generated illustrations may be used for presentation. The puppy image used on the homepage and puppy guides is an illustration, not a testimonial or evidence of a care outcome.

What "reviewed" means

A review date records an internal check of the page's clarity, links, safety language, and product behavior. It is not a veterinary endorsement. We update the date when a substantive check is completed.

How tools are checked

Commercial independence

Advertising or affiliate relationships do not change calculator formulas, generated documents, or safety language. A paid relationship must be disclosed beside the link. We do not place commercial recommendations inside medication or emergency tools.

Privacy and corrections

Drafts stay in the browser unless a user chooses to share or export them. When we correct or materially change a guide, we review the full page and update its review date.
