Describe actions, not assumptions
Replace phrases such as "normal walk" or "usual scoop" with a time, duration, route, food amount, and equipment. A sitter should be able to scan the document at the front door and know what happens next.
Make handling risks specific
State what creates distance, what cues the dog knows, which routes to avoid, and how the harness is checked. Describe behavior without labels: what the dog does, when it happens, and how the sitter should respond.
Keep medication exact
Copy the name, prescribed dose, timing, method, storage location, and clinic instructions. Do not create your own advice for late or missed doses.
