Use a measurable amount
Write grams, ounces, cans, pouches, or a specific measuring cup. "One scoop" only works when the sitter knows which scoop and where it is stored.
Prevent food swapping
In multi-pet homes, note who eats behind a closed door, whose bowl comes up first, which treats are prohibited, and whether leftovers should be removed. Keep prescription or allergy-related food clearly labeled.
Do not use the schedule to change a diet
This form records the current owner or veterinarian-approved routine. Feeding amounts and diet changes should follow the food label and advice appropriate to the individual pet.
